The rules for Screenshot of the Week.
    ============Entering Screenshot of the Week===========

    PMs (Private Messages) are the preferred way of entry. IMing (Instant Messaging) or e-mailing is also accepted, but remember to send a copy of your entry to ALL SotW managers (To check the current ones, just look at the title of the forum within the general Zelda Classic forums. The current managers are listed as the Moderators).

    -- Format --

    Title: The title for your PM/e-mail is whatever you want it to be. However, it must include, at the very least, "SotW" and the number for which you are entering. (Example: "SotW 20"). You won't be disqualified by not following this, but you will be nagged about it.

    Body: Again, the main body of the PM can be what you want, however it must contain the actual image in the form of a linked image:
    CODE
    [img](Image URL here)[/img]
    And/or a link to the image:
    CODE
    [url=(Image URL here)](URL name here)[/url]

    As well, you can include an image caption with the image, but it is not mandatory. If you don't want people to comment on your screenshot, just say so.

    Don't PM us telling us about the website we need to go to to find the image. If you do, the PM will be ignored.

    ============Rules for SotW===========

    1. The first rule is the most important rule, have fun. Whether your voting, entering, commenting, or all three, just remember this is all about having a good time.

    2. You still have to obey the PureZC rules in this forum. So please, no flaming, spamming, double posting or getting off topic.

    3. Late screenshot entries will not be added. You will have to wait until the next SotW.

    4. When you send in a screenshot via e-mail or IM, make sure you include your PureZC Forum Name in the title or message to make it easy to find when SotW is posted.

    5. Do not comment on a screenshot that is marked "no comment". If you do then you will be warned. If you do it again, you will be banned temporally.

    6. When commenting on screenshots, give a good explanation of why the shot you picked deserves to win, or why it didn't get your vote. Do not say because it sucks or something similar to that.

    7. You can only enter one screenshot every week.

    8. As stated above, send a copy of your entry to every current SotW manager.

    9. The only acceptable image formats are as follows: GIF (.gif), JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg), PNG (.png), and TIFF (.tif or .tiff). Bitmap (.bmp) images cannot be used by the forums, and therefore are not accepted.

    10. I wish this wasn't needed to be said, but it seems it is. Screenshot of the Week is for ZEDLA CLASSIC ONLY. That means the screenshot must be taken from Zelda Classic ("The player") or ZQuest ("The editor"). However, the version does not matter.

    ============Other useful info about SotW==========

    1. Screenshot of the Week is a weekly contest where you can enter your screenshot against other people's.

    2. Submissions are accepted at all times, as long as they are for the upcoming competition.

    3. After 4 SotW Winners have been declared, those 4 compete against each other for the title of Screenshot of the Month. On a week when this happens, there will be both Screenshot of the Week and Screenshot of the Month.

    4. Sending your entries to the site staff is not recommended. Yes, they will forward the entry to the SotW managers, but there is always a chance that they will either miss the PM entirely, or send it to us too late. As mentioned above, the current SotW managers are listed as the moderators for the SotW forum

    5. If you don't have webspace to host your screenshot, its not a problem. You can attach the screenshot to an email and send it to us, and we will host it for you with the SotW FTP. All screenshots are uploaded there anyway.

    6. If you cannot convert your image from Bitmap to any of the other acceptable image formats, then please say so. The SotW managers will convert it for you. However, it is greatly preferred that you do it yourself.

    7. There is no prize for winning SotW, other than a boost in ego. This is simply a fun way to show off your work and get some feedback, if you want it. Have fun, and don't put too much stock in whether you win or lose (Besides. There's always next time).
