Although I like making dugeons better, I vote overworld. You can have a quest with no dungeons, just overworld and custom bosses, and it will be good. But a quest without an overworld and just dungeons doesn't work well. A good overworld is essintial to the quest. I would give a quest a good rating if it had straight line dungeons if it had an excellent overworld. But I think that's enough of me rambling on about overworlds.

Dungeons.

And I disagree, you could make an entire quest in dungeons. In fact, I believe there already is such a quest.

Right, well dungeons is obviously winning here, and quite a lot of people have said that you can make a quest with no overworld (Labyrinth of Dinus is obviously quite a good example here) but you can't make one with no dungeons. This is where I'm going to prove you wrong icon_biggrin.gif

Because my quest is not going to have any dungeons. Mwhahahaha.

Gleook, obviously you could really enjoy (and eventually make) a quest entirly in dungeons. But there are people who wish for more that custom bosses than cannot be beaten. I just want to see the reactions of everyone here when Joe123 releases a quest with no dungeons.

An all overworld quest would be fun to play if done right. Might be fun to make one too, though I'd most likely need to use at least some caves. Well, it would be easier to do a quest with mostly overworld, but some caves and a couple dungeons as well.
