I'm looking for a script that will give an enemy of my choice a charging effect like in the Gbc zelda games. You know, like the darknuts that charge at link and follow him when they spot him.

I wonder if it's possible to have a Rope enemy with Darknut shield properties... because, you know, that way you could do it without a script.

I would like to see this done as well. the guard enemy script doesn't work too well for me. I liked how they worked in the gbc games, so this script would be awesome.

I think you can use the esword script to give the Darknut a sword/spear/lance/whatever. Set up a rope enemy with darknut properties, and that script? It might work. I was thinking of doing something like this with Gerudo enemies, actually.

I thought of that, it is possible, though it wouldn't be quite the same. He wouldn't charge in a diagonal line. Plus I'd like it to stop for a second then charge. Pretty much exactly how it is in the GBC games.
Oh, enemies that charge in diagonal lines?... Well now, THAT will definitely be beyond normal enemy behavior. I haven't played enough of the Oracle Zeldas to know that they behaved that way.

I wish I had the huge blue Lynels from Oracle of ages, those are probably my favorite enemy's. Though I also love the charging darknuts. Which are pretty much like the guards in Link to the past who charge at you, but more dangerous and a bit faster / persistent if I recall. Drop what you are doing and give those games a go, I recommend it. You'll get a good 30/40 hours depending how fast you plow through them.
