Is it really safe to use the new betas?

I know it's never reeaally safe to use the betas, but has anyone experienced big crashes and the like. I really want to use the betas for a bigger link. Which brings me to my next point. Is there a good sprite sheet for a bigger link that I could use? Thanks in advance.

No one knows how safe it is. Compatibility can be broken at any time or a major bug could come up and kill a quest.

254 is relatively "safe"

I've been using it for about...... since a week or two since it came out.

Short but to the point. Long live DN!

Basically, alpha builds are made for bugtesting not questmaking. You use them entirely at your own risk.

I know we haven't had a stable version since ... ages.

Back to reality, I really don't think it's a good thing to use Big Link. He'll tower over moblins, darknuts, etc. and be the same height as a lot of bosses.

I thought you can make those enemies bigger using the enemy editor.

But then again, we don't have a sheet of bigger ALttP enemy tiles out, anyways. icon_shrug.gif And blowing up old enemies (in any set) won't look good.

Ah, thanks. But I just realized what Moonwhisper said. It's really wierd. Guess I'll just use the smaller Link.

What you could do with the Big Link titles is make it into a novelty quest, more based on comedic humor. icon_cool.gif

I was actually thinking about that, like, Link in mini-world or something like that. icon_xd.gif

It would need shrunken tiles of everything, though. Like those mini-ALttP trees in the DB. icon_smile.gif

Err...you can't? O_o
Last time I used ZC (about 8-9 months ago, not sure which build) I'm pretty sure I changed a wizzrobe to be 16x32.... icon_blink.gif
