when I set it to my dmap it does not show up. And when I save and exit ZC it isnt there when I open my quest again.
when I set it to my dmap I'm not sure on that I didn't know you could set a subscreen to a dmap
I know you can set a title screen, but a dmap? hum I never heard of that. Do you mean you went to screen data and made sure the rule no subscreen was un checked? Well Im going to go look through my file real quick and see if I can emulate or find what could be your problem is, ok.
Edit: ok your talking about setting the subscreen in the dmap editor to active: triforce and passive to no magic. When you say "set it to my dmap" right? ok.
And I didnt really see anything that could be your problem, unless you are making your on from scratch.
Are you doing that? Because I could never get that to work for me. I had to edit the ones that are already there! Check the ones there and see if they are what you made. If not try making those to how you want it to look and that should fix your problem. Thats how I did mine.
Oh and one other thing you need to know about b254 when your in the dmap editor, make sure to uncheck the rule that says special rooms and guys are in caves only, if you want strings to appear lets say on an overworld map with a level higher than zero, or dungeon.
But anyways try moding the subscreens that are already there to make your and it should work. I hope this helps
