I am designing a dungeon in which I want the Lens of Truth to play a role in solving the puzzles. I want to make some rooms have invisible spikes which can be seen only with the lens. I have seen this technique in HD, and Link's Birthday, and maybe others, and I can't figure out how to do it. Can someone help me please? If anyone akso has other ideas besides invisble spikes/floors, and finding obscure item flags, for lens puzzles, please give me some ideas.

By the way I'm using the Pure tileset.. (In case that's relevant)

Oh. All you have to do, is 1) NOT have a secret triggerable on that screen for the following reason: 2) To make the things that appear when you use the Lens of Truth, place them as secret flags. That's all you have to do. Set the secret combos in the Data->Secret Flags area, then place the flags themselves on the screen with Tools-->Flags. Of course, only use flags #16 -#31, or #32. (Whatever) That's pretty much how you do it. icon_smile.gif

Of course, please realize that if you trigger a secret on that screen, all the secret flags will turn into the ACTUAL terrain, and the lens of truth will no longer serve a purpose.

And to make it so that where the "invisible spikes" do damage, make identical floor combos that look like regular floor, but with the "damage1/2" or "damage 1" (or anything similar) type combo.
