I want to somewhat mimic the area blocks that need to be pushed into holes from The MInish Cap

1) can make push blocks permanent in Overworld maps?
2) and then once you push them into place can you change them from push to walkable?

#2 is not a problem if not I have a way to work around that

but I would appreciate some help on this if anyone knows
thanks

Can you do that? No. However, you can mimick this.

First of all, make the screen, and set the push tiles. Make it so it will hit the hole. The main problem... you have to make it to the player can't walk on the hole. That can be a set back unfortunately. But, anyway, you make it so you push the block into the hole, and that activates a secret. Have a secret combo flag on all the entrances, to make sure the secret is activated when Link enters the room. The combos on the entrances should be "permanent triggers" or this won't work. And on that secret combo, use tiered secrets to make it go to the 2nd secret combo (ctrl, then click on the secret combo, then select flag 17). Then, have the second secret combo as a "direct warp" or "pit" for which ZC you have. Then have an "instant warp" to a room where it shows the push block in the hole. I might be up to making an example quest if you need it. icon_wink.gif
