I have endless ideas as far as storylines go but screen my designs areto plain all I can think of for screen borders are trees and fences. If you got any suggestions or tiles please help.

Well, firstly, not all screens need a border. Often times, if you're in a town, it's gonna be a more wide-open space.

If you're still using the classic set, you might want to think of using a more recent tileset, such as Pure. It has pretty much everything a beginning quest-maker needs, and then more.

Now, if you want to learn better screen design, my suggestion would be to play some of the other custom quests made by other players. There are plenty out there, so it's up to you which one to take. Good luck!
