This might be a really stupid question, with an obvious answer...but how do I save a word document as a .z file (or whatever it's called) so it can be loaded into ZC as a script...
Thanks.

Why from a Word document? Here is how you do it:
select all
copy
open notepad
paste
save
name it whatever.z
select all
copy
open notepad
paste
save
name it whatever.z

Make sure you have the filename in quotes when saving.
"scripts.z" would save properly, while just plain scripts.z would save as "scripts.z.txt".

It's that easy? Whoa, thanks.
I'm still really (really) new to scripting...

Just a hint. NEVER use Word to write scripts or program for that matter. Just use the in-ZQ editor or notepad. Word inserts formatting codes into documents which, as far as I know, can only be read by Word. Either way, formatting will make your code undecipherable. Not only that, but autocorrect is a nuisance when trying to capitalize or not capitalize certain terms.

Also, when using notepad, you could easily(when saving) change the file type to all files and then save it as name.z .
