I know, it probably should be obvious...but is there a certain way I have to do it?

I've saved a couple scripts in notepad, like that epona one...but when I try to load it into ZC by clicking on the 'load FFC script' or 'item' etc. It tells me it has invalid instruction. And then when I click on compile Zscript and click 'import' none of them show up in the list...do I have to write the script in ZC, or what?

Thanks... icon_freak.gif ...

Doesn't hurt to just have a quick look around before asking I'm sure.

Wait, you're usng the Epona script?
Did you even read the guide that I spent hours writing for it?
It explains how to import the script...

I know, I read both your Epona post and ScaryBinary's...but it's not working for me, I'm probably doing something wrong...

Oh sorry.

You're using the ZASM compiler instead of the ZScript compiler.

That is one of the most common mistakes. Don't import them. Use the "Compile ZScript" button.

But don't you have to import them before compiling them?

No. The importer is for ZASM scripts. The comiler is for ZScript scripts. Just save the script as a .z file, go to "Compile ZScript", and locate the file you saved. Then press compile.

Well yes, you do have to import them, but the ZScript importer is part of the dialog that appears after you select that last option, whereas the ZASM appears to have a different importer for the different types of script.
