Appearing Treasure Chest

In ZQuest 2.10, I am trying to create a treasure chest that appears once the enemy is defeated in the room (Enemies -> Secret) that contains a specific item (in this case, a Heart Container Piece). I understand that I normally have to use the Armos -> Item flag for an already visible box, but wouldn't I need another flag for the box to appear in the first place? How do I do this?

Yes you do need another flag. Go to Data -> Secret Combos and shift-click the secret combo to add a flag to the other flag.

I am still not quite understanding this… Can you provide more detailed instructions?
Secondly, is it possible to have slashable pots (with a "pot shards" combo underneath) and the opened treasure chest combo underneath the treasure chest at the same time?

Believe it or not, you can also make all those pots Slashable AND movable. Put a copy of the entire floor (Or at least all the segments of the floor that the pots can move on.) on layer 1 or 2, (1 preferable.) and place the pots (With the "floor" parts/pixels of the pot tiles transparent.) on layer 0 as usual. Then place your Flag #61 (Push all Silent.) on all of the pots. They may appear under the layer 1 floor in ZQuest, but in the quest itself, they'll be fully functional over the floor.
