My vote goes to Linkus Mastii. I still absolutely adore those houses, their windows, and those pillars!

I went with Fire Wizzrobe, that just looks like a place I'd like to be, kicked back drinking a cool Iced Tea.
I do think that at the bottom of the stairs the grass should part leaving a walkway, it seems un-natural that the grass would grow where people walk and not grow where they don't.
Still it got my vote.

ditto (tritto?) what ShadowTiger said. Linkus wins. Gashin's is okay, but TOO light methinks... which is something Fire Wizzrobe successfully avoids.

and then there's something I wanna address about MD's picture. No, this isn't his fault really... it's common to the Zero Mission Tileset altogether...

Using the ground/wall/whatever tiles of Zero Mission as Walls in ZC makes EVERYTHING look like a cave... ...even if it's supposed to be a place outside.
...just wanted to say that.

Gashin- Beautiful pallete and color contrast. I voted for you.

Mighty Darknut- The walls are nice but on the inside it's so plain.

Linkus Masti- Overall, the houses, roads, and grass seem too rigid and grainy plus the purple pallete is unattractive. You did a good job with the sprites and the stone, though. icon_thumbsup.gif

Voted for Gashin.
Fire Wizzrobe's picture is good, too.

No more comment.

That's actually how most of the areas in Metroid Prime/2 look. Everything is surrounded by tall cliffs/stone walls. (those walls are from Metroid Fusion, btw, not Zero Mission icon_razz.gif )

I nulled icon_unsettled.gif .

This is going to be incredibly predictable, but I voted for Gashin.

The other three had good showings, but came a hair short of being true greats. Keep it up, you three; you're on your way to being awesome. icon_thumbsup.gif

As much as I adore LM for the custom work, I just love Gashin's choice of colours... that place is beautiful.
