This is a little late for the expo, but whatever. Better late than never... And besides, all you get is a demo:

To The Top Floor Six

For 2.10.

Hints:
-The gibdo rooms have push blocks
-There are many bomb walls
-When you start out, the wand is probably your best weapon
-Even without a sword, you can still use bombs to kill wizrobes and darknuts
-The heart container is the end of the demo

If you want to read more about the quest itself or see some screenshots, click on the link that may or may not still be in my sig.

Questions, comments, or bug finds would be appreciated.

I just want to tell that I like the idea of this quest. So, if I don't play this demo, that's not because I'm not interested, I'm just overhelmed right now. I love your new classic tiles.

Since the demo is only one floor, I thought I'd put info on other floors as well, just to give a general feel for the direction the quest is going.

Floor 1. This floor is pretty simple, there are sand tile that can easily be walked over, and water tiles that can't be crossed. When you walk in the warp, however, the sand becomes impassible rocks, and the water freezes and becomes walk able. When you enter the portal again, the floor changes back to the way it was. The boss is a custom ghoma boss.

Floor 2. Again, a simple floor. There are bushes blocking important pathways in the level. They cannot be burned. When you find a special tree, if you burn that instead, it dies along with all the bushes, making the previously blocked rooms enterable.

Floor 3. A lava/water floor. There are many, many basins throughout the level. When you enter, half the basins are filled with lava. The other basins are empty. When you find the trigger rooms and push the block, all empty basins fill with water, and all full basins empty. The opposite happens if you push the block again. Empty basins usually have ladders leading in and out of them, so they can be crossed. They also may have keys or other items in them. The boss is a custom zora boss in which the water/lava/draining and even other aspects of the floor are incorporated.

Floor 4. Back to fairly simple. You meet Richard who asks you to find his five lost, golden leaves. When you find all five and return to him, he thanks you and opens the path for you. There are many walk-through walls and one-way doors on this floor, making it slightly mysterious or something.

Floor 5. Crazy floor. There are red blocks and blue blocks. When one is raised, the other is lowered. You can hit the orbs to change which is up and which is down. There are also the neat spinny things from Ages/Seasons. If you've played the games, you know how they work, if the arrows are rotating clockwise, when you walk onto it, you go 90 degrees clockwise. Same for counter-clockwise. However, when you use them, the arrows switch directions. In my quest, this also triggers the switching of red/blue blocks. That's not it. There are also chests which will only open based on which block color is up, and there are rooms which require FOUR keys to pass through. Still more, there are GOLD blocks as well. There is a gold orb hidden on the floor. This only needs to be hit once, and all the gold blocks go down. To top it all off, there is another custom boss: Smog. This floor was pretty hard to make. Heh.

Floor 6. This one's in the demo. Pretty straightforward in terms of finding keys/items to advance through the floor. There is the stalfos custom mini-boss which you must fight five in different rooms times in order to get a certain item. There's a couple neat raft and switch things... it's in the demo.

Floor 7. I haven't made this floor or any following yet. Floor 7 will be some sort of waterworks in which you must manipulate the flow of water somehow. I'm not entirely sure yet.

Floor 8. Will be like Eagle's Tower from LA. You have to break all the pillars so that the top floors will fall down, making them enterable.

Floors 9 and 10 will be kept a secret for now. Besides, I'm not really sure what they're going to be anyway. I have a good idea for one of them, but...

Anyway, tons of kudos to anyone who bothered to read any or all of that. Hopefully, I'll figure out something cool for floor 7 soon so that I can keep working! Questions, concerns, thoughts, opinions, ideas, suggestions?
