To answer your question Knuckles, I had VERY LITTLE hand in this quest's development. I will say though that Eddy tends to love adding elements of games recently played, hence all the Pokemon stuff as he did Emerald and FireRed versions, the latter with me helping him out. Honestly, I strongly dislike those Shieldrobes. Given their annoyance, they should have been killable in just ONE Master Sword hit, not 3 or whatever it is. Also, had I known he threw in Mobile Breezies, I think I would have been chewing him out over Skype. The most I really did was give Eddy a few ideas here and there, but looking back, this quest, while decent, isn't Eddy's strongest. It's a good quest considering it was his first 2.50 quest (he used 2.10 for everything prior to that, such as Quest of Beings).
Also, Eddy seemed to like a lot of the "ideas" I used. That's why you see all those "Touhou rooms" as I call them. Basically where you're being shot at to the point you can hardly see your character or avoid damage. So you can blame me for all of Eddy's enemy and boss spam, since at the time, he "liked" that about my design choice.
In other words: I was a kid and didn't know how to make a quest B)
Seriously speaking, what Adam said is correct. Most of the elements in every quest I make is always somewhat based off a recent game I've played. As a few examples: AR1 had FSA elements since that was a game I was playing just before making the quest, HL had elements based off Z1, AR3 has elements based off Ages/Seasons and Nightmare has elements that was based off LA.
But yeah, I definitely agree, the Shieldrobes was a kind of bad idea. When I say that, I meant execution, since I really like the idea of Wizzrobes that are shielded, but the way I did it wasn't too good lol And yeah, I'll admit, most of those ideas Adam gave me were pretty cool and I believe they were used in more recent quests of mine (can't quite recall though). Finally, again, I agree with Adam when I say that RMAA definitely isn't my strongest quest. In fact, it probably goes in the middle for my favourite own personal quests, with either Nightmare, HL or AR2 at the top
Either way, looking forward to seeing the finale and looking at the final score. I honestly don't mind if this quest gets a low score compared to others I've made because quite honestly, this is a very old quest of mind and the AR series is now a thing lol
