I know it's possible to make the screen so the push blocks doesn't leave undercombo (better say, it's not visible), so they can be pushed through any terrain without changing that. Without this trick, where the combo is pushed there is an ugly trail. So, how do I do this?
I know it involves layers, but when I tried to do it, the blocks became unpushable. I also saw a conversation about this in the tricks thread, but I could not understand that. So, could someone explain step by step, in full detail, how it works?
I place the pushable block in layer 0 or 1? Is it just so that I cover the blocks path with Layer1, so the undercombo is invisible? What if the pushable block is smaller than 16X16 and is needed to be layered under normal circumstances?

Any tile with a push block flag given to it is drawn above Layer 2, and below Layer 3, so Layer '2.5'
This means that, as Billy said, if you put the floor on Layer 1 or 2 it'll put it below the block.
And as you said, if there's transparent edges to the tile, they won't appear, and the floor drawn onto layer 1 or 2 will be shown.
This will only happen in ZC though, so don't be fooled by how it appears in ZQuest.

Thank you all! I didn't know it was so simple... I already made a screen with this trick. It works great.

I am in full favor of the push block flag method of creating extra undercombos. It's a little more tedious than other methods, but it maintains it initial combo when the player uses the Lens of Truth. Very handy.

Hey, nice find. I don't remember whether I mentioned the Lens of Truth at all in my FAQ. If I didn't, it's because I don't use it (I consider the ZC version to be broken).
It occurs to me that my FAQ isn't really a "Mini-FAQ" anymore...
