[Bowser Blanchette]

I have being playing Saffith's InsertTitleQuest for a while and I noticed something interesting.

In Level-5, there was this room that, when you walk around, the blocks appear and disappear, showing a pathway. How do I do something like that?

I'm guessing a bunch of insta warps in between 5-6 screens.

Well I personally highly doubt that it's via insta-warps, but there's an easy way to check. This quest is for 2.10 right?
Try standing still. If it uses instawarps via cycling to directwarp combos, then the blocks will stop moving if you stop walking.

No, I think he did it with combo cycling.

Combo Cycling? I'm not sure about that. Maybe Saffith himself might know?

That's the eyeball A combo. The blocks have to be setup in a specific way to work properly.

I used to have a shot of how it supposed to be done but, it's long gone.

It almost could have been direct warps between several screens, but Xav is likely right; That looks like the behavior of Eyeball combos. (Hell, just imagine if he'd combo cycled those eyeball combos. Oh man. That would have been absolutely crazy.)

I did it in tcol, an old old old old quest of mine that I canceled. So, I recognize the behavior.

Yep, that's Eyeball A. The tiles alternate between block and floor, so it looks like blocks vertically and horizontally and like floor tiles diagonally.
