I'm in need of new 2x2 frame tiles for my subscreen. I want it gray, and to resemble TWW a bit. Also, in the Pure palette.

I don't like Imageshack, as whenever I use it, it messes around with things and I just find Photobucket simpler. Alright.

I'll teach you how to use it, since you did it incorrect.

1. Select the image.
2. Click "Don't Change anything", "optimize with resizing".
3.Click host.
4. Copy the Link of the last hyper link. the real image link.

Heh, nevermind.

Thanks BTW.

Actually, imageshack doesn't mess with the images. Photobucket reduces the size and converts them to jpgs with a quality of 7.

Photobucket only does that if the dimensions or file-size is too large.

Photobucket caps out at 800x600, and 1MB in filesize. If I ever wanted to load up an image that large, I would probably do it on my Freewebs account anyway. Photobucket only changes images to JPG if it is a BMP image, which a good deal of places won't let you put up BMP images anyway.

Also, what I meant by ImageShack "BSing", me is that out of common sense I clicked "Forum Code", and pasted it without thinking, and it gave me something weird, which I had to edit and clean up myself.

It also converts .pngs to .jpgs. It did that to that medallion I posted in a thread. You must've chose the wrong code in imageshack, cuase its got a [IMG]image.bmp[/IMG] tag. In fact its the first one listed, and the one I always use, which works fine.

Photobucket never converted my PNGs. Even when I uploaded a screenshot of my desktop as a PNG, Photobucket resized it but it remained a PNG.

Yeah.... SP, try your account settings. It shouldn't convert anything but BMPs.
