Edit: I tested SoR in RC1 and the bug with HP in partial hearts seems to still be present...

Edit2: So it seems that when you load a save game, the bug still happens, but it's fixed for when you use the continue trick. Also, starting HP is bugged when it isn't a percent now...

Ice Magic hasn't been implented yet. You will need to script it yourself.

What was ice magic planned to do? Freeze Link, slow him down or something else? I've got a few ideas as to what one could do with it, but I'd like to know what was originally planned for it.

I think it was meant as an lweapon initially, like the cane of Byrna, or ice magic ala ALTTP.

I'm not going to download RC1 until I finish fixing up my computer, so I have a few questions.

-Other than a some bugs, what are major improvements since Beta 18?
-If ice magic isn't going to be in the final version of 2.5, is there still mention of it in ZQuest (like how you have the option of the magic book including ice magic)?
-Can we start getting excited about ZC 3.0 yet? icon_razz.gif

This is actually a pretty good point. While I expect a lot of downtime after this long and arduous process (actually it's still not over yet), if ZC 3.0 is how I've heard it is planned to be, then it will be pretty great. It's essentially what people wanted to do with Zelda Modern, but now will have a larger dev team, and more community support.

Will 3.0 be able to be open source? Or will the name have to be changed to not go against Phantom Menace?

Cameron: "Zelda Modern" is still in development right now and hasn't been dropped. It's just that there's nothing really to show off to the public at this point. It's still in an early alpha stage with no editor yet, just a scripting engine that still needs lot of work. I can't reveal much more in order to not bring false hope on people. icon_confused.gif

Lynker, I'm not sure if I read your post right, it's kinda late here (you should know, being from Massachusetts). Zelda Modern and Zelda Classic are two different things (if I remember correctly), I believe there was a topic about ZM around here somewhere.

That's pretty much it. There were a few changes to the default quest template, but it's mostly just bug fixes.

No. We removed all the references to unused stuff we could find (except the unused flag; removing it caused problems, so it might actually stay).
