btw, just to point it out once more, the screen to the left of the new one is a maze screen that solves downwards. just in case anyone forgets.

That said, I don't personally want it not to look like it connects to the screens around it. Just keep in mind the maze screen-ness of that one.

Also, looks like the green dungeon may end up being part of Level 6/7 (i.e. part of the Horizon Factory level) if Lit Landing is also a part of it (as we've discussed a little on Discord).

 

EDIT:

The upper staircase leads out to the bridge screen (26) in Lit Landing towards the heart piece. The idea is that the lower stairs go to a room in Underlit Caverns (i.e. you find a bonus room in the mini-dungeon, come to this room, and then go up one more level out to get the heart piece.

Btw, we have 10 Heart Pieces in the quest according to the quest report.

Yeah, I've been wondering. Was gonna quickly sneak a reclaim in and fix my screen, but if someone else wants to claim first (while I do some other stuff I'm working on), go ahead. I can stare at my awful town screen for a little longer.

EDIT: For some reason I couldn't open your quest file (decryption error or something) and your screenshot wasn't showing up, but I downloaded the image and recreated the screen (I think). Feel free to check it when you next get the chance.

Also, I tidied up my other screen a little. It looks passable now.

 

The point here is that if you hit the Goriya with the bananarang, he'll open the way to the carnival from this side, so that the player has to come in from the left at first.

I don't think you can change the npc script string after a secret, so I made secrets temporary. Also, if we have nicer barrier sprites (maybe a ribbon or something) then that would be good. I didn't have that much time and am not that good at spriting anyway.

I'm not 100% on this room's shape, but not every screen needs to be some epic, mind blowing display of wizardry
