I'm not so sure about that.
If I leave the screen to go wavy for a certain number of frames, then warp Link, then yes.
But the warp itself will take up one frame, so I can't really have sound effects play 'while Link's warping', cause it'll be an instant sorta thing.

Might be best off just making a few long sound effects that carry on going though?

what do you mean by just one frame? like 60 seconds? it'll be rediculous making a sound effect to last even two seconds ...hmmmmm or else it would'nt be rediculous. i have a ripped SFX from the oracle series that sounds like a teleport. i would post it but right now, just checked, i lost it and might be able to rip it again icon_sweat.gif

One frame is 1/60th of a second, not 60 seconds.

And I'm waiting for
  1. A little more infromation from you (which I think I now have)
  2. A good point to finish making bugfixes in aKttH for the moment

why kind of information do you need to know? like what kind of warp i need?
and oh, you can take your time joe, i mean, i am quite busy too making changes and fixing some bugs i have and changing a couple things im not satisfied with in my quest ..no big rushie icon_razz.gif

If you could be a little bit more specific on how you want the sound effects set up?

The sound effect is 4 frames. And how is it being complicated? Can you explain? Is it the check? The warp? Ocarina? What part of it?

Oh, it's not really complicated in itself.

It's just that I'm trying to think of a way of writing it so that it doesn't just use hundreds of ifs in a row.

you mean that line that checks link in zscript? I was about to have a heart attack and write "lets just use ffc warps" when you said it was complicated. glad it was'nt. sheesh icon_smile.gif

I meant that line where people write: if(link blah blah blah " and what i meant by ffc warp is, instead of using the regular warps on zquest, you can set up an ffc warp on the screen and warps when a warp is triggered. *begginner in zscript . I know i don't make sense* icon_smile.gif

Oh.
ifs can check lots of things, not just things to do with Link.

And a scripted warp isn't restricted just to an ffc.
You can use it an any kind of script.

Whoa! Boy your pretty fast =p EDIT: do you mind PMing the code instead of posting it? I mean it won't be a surprise if you start seeing people have changing seasons in quests. I want mine to be remembered for that once the version 2.5 is released icon_shrug.gif

Yes I do mind.
I'm not writing private scripts.

And I'd quite like to see a few quests with season systems.
