Yep, we're all very excited about this, and Nate is doing us a huge favor by doing this almost single-handedly. Much thanks upon you and your household.

IPB 2.3.5 is very nice, and has great new features that IPB has been lacking compared to other forum software. Nate is great at doing these things, and he's doing a fine job so far. You won't be disappointed! icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you!
Wait, that was your line Nate... here's mine:
Congrats on the promotion man!
Now, I'm STILL wondering why this happened so LATE... I mean, it's like, YEARS late... icon_frown.gif

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the update, and I'm sure you'll do great, Nate.

Wow, I had a dream about the upgrade last night. icon_smile.gif Anyways, could we change some of the pictures in the background? The same old ones from outdated tilesets are getting kind of annoying. icon_smile.gif

Perhaps now is the time to ask for that sexy inverted PZC theme icon_razz.gif
Even if we don't get it, though, shiny new stuff is always a plus.

I've fiddled with themes before like this, but it's just a CSS file. I don't think any new themes are planned together with the update; that's not to say they aren't possible in future though. (I'll probably have to redo that one anyway when we upgrade.)

New forum skins are a thing I have planned. icon_wink.gif

However, the default skin will be the one that is currently being used.

If I may ask, what is the plan for the change? Is there anything we should look for in the near future?

Well, if you want an idea of what this version of IPB will look like (version 2.3.5), this board is a good example. We will still have the same green skin that we love, so it will look like that board, only with our shades of green. You will notice some differences on how board statistics are done, in addition to more features with profiles.

Incorrect.

The forums won't look any different. The skinning will be the same.

QUOTE
I wonder if I'm the only one not happy with this update.

I'd be interested to hear your take on that after it's happened and you've used the new PureZC a bit. Certainly you can tell us about any specific thing you find was better in the older one once you've compared them both.

As it's still IPB, I don't think too much will change. Certainly some details will, but the buttons and options you're used to won't be completely different.
