should i releace a demo sometime around the start middle of not at all


note this quest will have
16-32+ dungeons
3+ overworld maps
boss rush
EVERY ITEM
tons of great music
a huge story
a story dungeon where you will be running to after each dungeon with a item to let you get in farther



note: i need help finding some midis
super castlevania dracula battle when he starts dropping thunder/same thing as from level 1
nocturn of shadows there should be a long version thats different from just the song

note: how do you use these items
rocs feather
wisp ring
4 way ladder
hover boots
stomp boots
stone of agony
heart ring
wimsicle ring
magic ring
peril ring
charge ring

bump beacuse i need to know also would it be allright to bump pics like when i get new pics i can put a new post even if it makes it a triple or do i need to make a different thread for pics

Here. DA RULEZ It should have everything you need... as for pics, just stick 'em in this thread. Having two topics going around just gets kind of scattered.

16-32 dungeons?!? Geez, man, that's freaking rediculous!

icon_wow.gif if you can pull off 16-32 dungeons. It would be frakin long to beat!

It depens on how bog the dungeons are! Like my first is only like ten screens but thats a mini-dungeon. Maybe 20 of is dungeons are mini icon_shrug.gif Anyway Hydrocrush1 can you be more specific about the dungeons?

Ok, first off, the Roc's Feather allows Link to jump. (note, you have to have Link's jumping gfx) The 4-way ladder, is just like the ladder, but when you're on it, you can walk onto land in all 4 directions, where as with the normal ladder, you can only go across in whatever direction you're facing. The hoverboots act as an add-on to the Roc's Feather, making you stay in the air for a longer period of time. I'm not entirely sure about the other items.

Mini-dungeons are a totally different category than dungeons. And I don't know why it would matter if the dungeon was in a bog or not. icon_deformed.gif

Items, items...
  • Whisp Ring: This will protect you from getting jinxed by Bubbles. I'm not sure if it's 100% implemented yet.
  • Stomp Boots: When you land on an enemy using Roc's Feather, it damages them. Again, I'm not sure if it's implemented.

I also disagree Ebola. I like this 16-32 dungeons idea. Make it very tough and enjoyable. If you make it too short or bland, you won't get much enjoyment.

And it is freaking ridiculous. That's A LOT of dungeons. If you can do it, that's fine... but I would hate to see dungeon quality suffer at the hands of dungeon quantity.

thanks for telling me about some but what about

stone of agony
heart ring
wimsicle ring
magic ring
peril ring
charge ring
as well as wealth metals

they will all be full dungeons note: the first dungeon will not be very big beacuse its the first sword dungeon

2nd will be huge for a dungeon with the ladder

3rd seems i am going with hookshot then 4th will likely have the cross

5th will probably be a dungeon you can access from after you get the hookshot but will be filled with invisable monsters

screen shots will appear as soon as i finish dungeon 1

in the first 5 dungeons i think i will only put 1 triforce piece in them

8 pieces no dungeon limit

my final choice for a tileset is 1 where i dont have to scroll like hell but it is from a old version and hasent been updating you think one of you could fix up the tile set with all the stuff

or give me something i can just add to fix the tiles

otherly the rings will look alot alike

boots do

etc and some problems might appear with item selecting

the final boss will put you through all hell

dont worry the mirror shield dungeon and master sword dungeons are optional

i will put some of the more worthless items in triforce dungeons

also a 4th overworld

1 earth lv 1 sword
2 light earth (lv 2 sword optional) (lv 2 shield optional)
3 dark earth (lv 3 sword optional)
4 sky world (lv 4 sword optional) (lv 3 shield optional)

Wait... so, you have 32 dungeons, but only 8 are required? I don't really understand what you are trying to say here...

What? I'll try to guess what you're saying... you want a fairly small tileset with "all the stuff"? Just look through the database, I'm sure you'll find something you like.

there can only be 8 triforce pieces

ganon has 4 different dungeons yes you have to fight ganon 4 times to get to zelda

to beat him the last time where he transforms with the triforce you will need the last sword

4 ganon + 1 first sword + 8 triforce + many item dungeons

note

1 earth lv 1 sword lv 1 shield(start) lv 1 armor(start)
2 light earth (lv 2 sword optional) (lv 2 shield optional) (lv 2 armor optional)
3 dark earth (lv 3 sword optional) (lv 3 shield optional) (lv 3 armor optional)
4 sky world (lv 4 sword optional)

theres 7 optional dungeons and 3 more for the magic crystles

i might go back to lv 3 shield and armor to the final

I doubt a newbie has the ability to pull off such a feat. It's easy to have visions of grandeur, but actually following through with them is a totally different story.

Besides, it's silly to start an epic as a newbie. You'll get progressively better to the point that you have to redo all the stuff you did first because it's crap.

And 32+ dungeons? Meaning you don't even KNOW how many dungeons there will be? Sit down, spend at LEAST 2-3... maybe even FOUR months before even opening ZC. You simply CAN'T pull off an epic quest without first planning it to a T, and expect to spend 3-4 YEARS after that to actually build the thing.

Also 32+ dungeons in only 3 overworld maps? I take it your overworld will be pretty small and cramped them. Lost Isle only has about 10 (give or take) dungeons and that spans 6 overworlds.

I wish you luck, but I predict PHA1LURE! unfortunately.
