So what is the secret to getting the Master Sword without the cheat? I never figured it out but after killing Ganon I used the cheat code to get it.

I mentioned in an earlier post that the way to get the master sword without cheating was after you completed level 8. I said that stupid whistle that usually ends you up in a tree somewhere can now end you up on a cliff inside the western area. However, once you get the sword, there was no way out without cheating, so you had to either use the whistle to get out, or just quit n save your progress to warp out.
This way, you can breeze right through Ganon's pyramid with it.
