But what item can I afford to lose to replace with Pidgey?

Maybe the dust pile as I do not see any particular use for it... But Some people use it to trick people into buying it even though it serves no purpose. and what about using a tile warp combo to set the whistle screens in a certain room?

Does the dust pile actually apear on the subscreen so I can assign it to the B button?

I think It shows up where the Heart Pieces and armor and what not do.

I do not believe so... Like I said it shows up on the portionof the subscreen with the Equipment, not the Items.

Oh, right. Well, what I may do is that instead of arrows you have to throw Pokeballs. And when you throw a pokeball in a particular place then the Pidgey cutscene happens. What about that?

Okay, I'll get onto it quickly. I'll let you have the first try and tell me what you think before I release it. I am possibly posting a taster (the house interiors) in the ZC Expo.

But the part of the tileset I have made is very messy and hard to use. Do remember that when you download the taster. The official one will be much easier to use and I am using it (or parts of it) in my Wind in The Willows game.

You could make exp heart container pieces? And the heart containers could be a level up?

I understand that, and I may be able to help you organize it, If you wish. And you could make some powerups like the Armour a piece of rare candy or some other Mineral or Vitamin.
