Heh, you may understand what you're saying, but to someone else... eh. It's like decoding some sorta message. Something that I don't have time/patience for.
OR they could always use firefox, which has a handy dandy spell checker.

(That's kinda' a serious question, 'cause I don't use FireFox...)

[though that would be pretty handy... maybe they'll include it in the next update.]
But see, rules of grammar can be easy to remember. They're simple.
Example: then/than.
Than, a conjunction, is used to compare things. [more than, less than, better than]
Then, an adverb, is used with descriptions of time.
You're-- a contraction [combination] of the words you and are.
Your-- possessive.
They're-- another contraction of the words they and are
There-- location
Their-- possessive.

And I was just pointing out that a "spell checker" isn't going to help their grammar.

Or that spell 'their' like 'thier' or 'weird' as 'wierd'.
Meh.
What was it... I before E, except after C... then something like, except when pronounced like A, as in neighbor and weigh. I think.
The American people need to be re-educated!
We will go out and teach them how to use grammar-- the right way!

You start... I'll back you up.
(and while doing so, I'll end my sentance with a preposition, braking grammatical code and ultimately proving my disworth in the battle for grammatical justice. )

Other than that, I totally agree with you but I don't see anything anyone can do.

Not that I'm really suggesting that...

Shorthand I can tolerate. r u gonna b home, for example. Especially over text message.
It's just improper use of words that really tans my hide.
No way, that's even worse! At least people who can't spell are trying!
