[The Satellite]

A deep mist lay over the bay where the four entered this realm: Shoelace, PrinceMSC, Shane, and nicklegends. The residents were unable to navigate the waters or fish for food, and the pirates in their fortress were often also a source of trouble. The natives besought the aid of the four to bring an end to their plight, first with the pirates, then with the source of the mist: The temple. Only one of them would be able to see this task to the end, save the residents, and move forward...

PrinceMSC wins for this contest, for the really awesome screen design which I don't think I've ever seen anyone else do before. Every other shot has been very well made too and I really love them too.

Well, first off: PrinceMSC got the best subscreen ever.

These are all amazing screens and they are all very well designed. In the end I voted for Shoelace because I personally like that tileset the most. PrinceMSC got an amazing tileset too and it looks beautiful. And so does Shane's. These gameboy tiles are great and the screen has an interesting layout. I like the tropical vibe of nicklegend's shot and the shadows make it very interesting to look at.

PrinceMSC wins my vote, wow.... thats a great shot! Shane came in second place, I liked all the screens actually, but PrinceMSC caught my attention because of that tileset and how much detail there is!

Prince's looked like something out of a Wii U Zelda game. Shoelace's looked like a more lively Lost Isle, and Nick's shadows are really cool. Sorry Shane, your screen is just forgettable compared to the others. Prince Wins!

This SotY had a lot of amazing screens, and it was incredibly difficult for me to choose what I thought was the best screen. After a while of thinking, I decided to vote for PrinceMSC for the incredible looking tileset, visuals, structure, and subscreen. I feel like this might actually be the best screen in SotY this year. The other competitors did amazing as well. Shane's screen is very good and unique, and has an incredible structure and also a great palette and atmosphere. I definitely won't forget that screen. Shoelace's screen is also very amazing, with the great mountain tiles to the awesome looking water. And nicklegends screen is also great with very accurate shadow details which I love. Great job, everyone!

While Shoelace, Shane, and nicklegends put in their best efforts to scour the depths and discover what clouded the bay with fog, PrinceMSC's skills simply proved too great, and he strove forward with impeccable haste, intent on restoring peace to the bay. Crushing the foul fishy beast that lay within the temple, he freed the bay from its plight and moved onward to see what lay in wait for him in the world's hub...
