The first ever dungeon themed Map of the Month turns out to be a success! We have five big dungeons for you to marvel at. Remember that next month we'll be doing overworld maps again! Any dungeon maps submitted will go to April's Map of the Month.

Archeitct Abdiel

The second dungeon in the Hylian Lament wherein Kudjo the Lynel searches for the Forest Sage on his quest to snatch up all the medallions needed to revive Ganondorf.

Joelmacool
la casa de la araña

Majora
Nature has reclaimed most of this ancient citadel, built for some long-ago war. Something of great power rests in its deepest reach.

Phosphor

Atop the icy peak of the dormant Death Mountain one can find the Summit Sanctuary, a temple that descends deep into the heart of the volcano.

It was super complicated.
I try to vote based on what I perceive of the level design and its intelligence and layout. I also try to take into account the aesthetics, the atmosphere and the beauty of the graphics.
Finally, I try to take into account the scope of the work.

Everyone seemed to have the upper hand on one point. To decide, I just asked myself "which dungeon do I want to visit, to discover".
Twilight knight got my vote. I want to know the "story" of this dungeon and what happen to the center of this one, but it was hard to overlook the level of competition and the investment that had been made. They make you want to visit them and discover the level design

What Solynutt said is a very similar mindset to what I had. Twilight Knight got my vote for the aesthetic, the layout, the use of what I assume is some kind of void like substance. It oozes with atmosphere and it uses that void to indicate how open the map is. The only real criticism I have is that it could just be that bit more fascinating with a less... squarish design in terms of the flooring around the void to emphasis the idea of the decay, but that's a nitpick if ever there was one.

Phosphor's follows a similar trend, particularly with B3 and B4's more lava oriented direction. I just really like it when dungeon maps detach themselves from the usual ZC tropes and shed the walls for a sense of openness, you know?
