The "Hosted Forum Owners" group has been removed from the forums.
However, before anyone goes crazy, this presents no change to how hosted forum mods can manage their forums.
The rank had no purpose anymore since it was toned down to be fair to normal members (no pips, colors, ect). It had nothing to do with how a Hosted Forum Moderator could moderate their forum.
I figured I would announce this just so people would know. If you have questions, feel free to ask in this thread.

No...NO! First you take away our pips...then our color... and now our rank! NO!!! I must...
*grabs up a dagger and commits harikari*
Darn, forgot I'm immune...
Well anyway, I guess I don't really care much. But if it saves the database a few bytes, ok. And it makes the list of ranks to search for smaller.

I was just thinking on a similar topic. Are the Banned 2-4 ever used? If not you could change the Banned 5 to Perma-Banned. Also changing the Banned 1 to Temp-Banned. I was just thinking about this.

I believe they are, for pip reasons. e.g. if a member has been banned for a week rather than a day, then he has two Xs under his name.

When a member gets perma-banned, they sometimes change their title to "Perma-Banned." Or if they the perma-banned member had multiple accounts, they might change the title to "Stupid moron with no life." Joshua-Milton-N had that title. The one with 32 posts.

I just see a black rectangle as the pips of banned members. Purely black, nothing outstanding. Maybe I need to adjust my brightness?

It's like that on my computer also. It's my computer, because when I was on another computer, the black X's were there with no black rectangle under them.
