You've probably noticed there are some problems with the forums and site right now. Don't panic; the host appears to be having some issues with PHP for some reason or another. Just wait it out, thanks.

This is beyond nuts. From what I've gathered:

Current Location's forum and subforums read "Array" (not being a link), the main page (and everything on the domain root) delivers an error (Warning: Illegal offset type in /home2/purezc/Smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 551)... The moderator listings below each forum are blank, and the gender field shows a single letter (m, f, or i, or nothing at all)... And trying to get new posts (or any other type of search results) causes "There appears to be an error with the PureZC Forums database." (note 1) Under email settings, we have "Warning: Illegal offset type in /home2/purezc/public_html/forums/sources/Usercp.php on line 1082" five times on the top of the page. The gallery avatar names are all "Array" and don't seem to work (though it might be my javascript settings). "Jump to Folder" of PMs doesn't work - the listbox has two blank entries, both of which lead to "There are no messages in this folder". Also, as Aaron found out, polls are broken. Voting doesn't work, polls get reduced by one question, and the names don't show up.

Except for that, the forum appears to be in working order.

I'm guessing the server broke your arrays.

(note 1: Full error message returned is:

mySQL query error: SELECT topic_id FROM forums_posts WHERE pid IN(0,Array,0)

mySQL error: Unknown column 'Array' in 'where clause'
mySQL error code: 1054
Date: Thursday 29th of September 2005 10:16:48 PM

)

First I broke my forum. Then I came here, and another error message appears here. I thought I was breaking forums today. @_@

Everything's working fine now. I think the host was doing some upgrades. I ended up having to edit IPB's source to fix conflictions with the current MySQL version. Everything's cool now.

Actually, I didn't notice any problems. But that's good to know, I guess.
