Well,DMap is in ZC or ZQ?
I'm trying to play 1st quest and this one is passworded...

1st quest is only passworded for ZQuest. You play it with ZC. The music is already in it. It doesn't play because when you run ZC sometimes, the SW Synth is muted, in Volume Controls. That's all I have to say.

Try opening Windows Media Player or Winamp, then minimize them. It worked for me once.

Perhaps the question we need to ask now is if he a synth on the computer...

Alright. Go to Control Panel via Start, and click on Sounds and Audio devices (the speaker icon). A small window will come up; click on the Audio tab. Check the "MIDI music playback" section to see if you have a synth; if not, you're out of luck. Or...

Windows likes to disable your sound card. I don't know why, but it does. If "Default device" is Modem #0 Line Playback in the Audio tab along with "Sound recording", just restart the computer and check again.

If it's still the same, you might not have much a sound card at all.
