Woop! The quest has been done for quite a while and I think a fair few of you guys have already taken it for a spin, but for everyone else it's now in the database for those who wish to play it.

Feel free to use this thread to ask for help on the quest if you need it!

I wouldn't say it's my most ambitious quest by a long shot, but it doe have a decent amount of original scripted work it in. In retrospect I would totally throw out the action RPG system and re-code it from scratch, but it's serviceable enough.

I like the adventure and different weapons used to play the quest.  I'm in the area where I have defeated ganon.  I noticed that in this area I can't tell how many keys I have so therefore, I'm missing two keys.  I like the part where I can save more offen and when I'm killed I can keep my items I had before I died.  

 

The two keys I'm missing is for to get the advanced (super) bombs and the boss to get the heart.  I know this because I tried different areas and got out so I could warp back to the same point.  The key counter stays at "0" even when I get one key.

You're on floor B12F then?

The key counter not updating is accurate, is because the keys in this floor are generic keys rather than level specific keys, even if the counter does not go up, you will still *have* the keys.

Anyway, if you get stuck that means you missed a critical item from floor B11F, so I recommend combing that floor more thoroughly, good luck.

Thanks for the response.  I have the 4 crystals now and have moved on without the keys I'm missing.

I haven't played this since the original demo release, so I will need to try it. It's one of the few RPG-style quests made using ZC, and possibly the first one that was completed.

Not really the thread for it, but to answer your question: I don't know. It's complete, fully playable, and fine as is. But that quest has a lot of really bad concessions made to it due to nightmares very weird contest rules, and a fair few other awkward things. I'd like to make some changes to it if I am to ever release it to the database..., but I don't really have the motivations to do it currently.
