Is anybody familiar with CinemaForgeLite, a program that lets you download YouTube videos?
They are supposed to let you convert them, somehow, but I can't figure out how. Does anybody know how?

I don't know how to do it with cinemaforgelite, but I can tell you that transcoding youtube videos isn't hard at all.
Of course, you'll need mencoder to do that. A good GUI for windows is MeWiG. It'll do the command line assembling for you.
Or, hold out for someone who knows cinemaforge. I understand that if I were in your position, another program might be around the last thing I wanted.
CODE
mencoder -oac copy -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4 youtubefile.flv -o outputfile.avi
Works on linux to get mpeg4 videos output, but I'm not sure how well that'll translate to the command prompt. If you wanted to use x264 or xvid, replace "lavc" and "-lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4" with your codec and options, respectively. Of course, you'll need mencoder to do that. A good GUI for windows is MeWiG. Exactly.
I mean, I've searched the online help forums, but it seems the last activity there was last year. Plus, there are hardly any topics, and none of the ones that are there are helpful at all.

ok here u go...
i am assuming u have already downloaded video with CFL and it is in .flv format.
open up the program, click wizard, and a window should pop up-- click open in the upper left. your video should be in the folder that pops up. open the file u want to convert, and now you can select format and choose destination file in the middle of the window. then click start on the bottom left and it will convert!
