I have one oh god why

Because I have faith in exclusives and enjoyed the price.

Only issue I have with it is Internet required to download my two free games with the bundle instead of giving me the disc's for assassins creeds

Halo
Fable

I'm also pretty sure when you "install" a disc based game, it will instead download the game off of Xbox LIVE.

I can understand why it could be annoying, especially if you live in an area without a good connection, but you have to understand that the only reason they can bundle it with games without pushing the price up to the price of a physical copy of the same game, is because printing those copies isn't free. Add to that any manuals (rare these days), or any kind of informational booklets that usually comes with, and you start seeing why they'd go for a digital copy. I believe most bundles do this these days, though any store-specific bundle usually has a physical copy included with it (meaning bundles the store itself has decided to run with, as then they'll just grab it from their stock).

I can't say for sure regarding the Xbox One, but on the 360 the installs would be done from the disc, but most games these days require you to download any released updates if you're gonna play the game but also be connected to Xbox Live / PSN. If you want to play without updating it, you could always disconnect while you play. I know the PS4 hasn't changed this, and seeing as Microsoft has stated that you won't need an internet connection to play games, I kind of doubt they'd do that (even though that was the plan originally).

A bunch of the early Xbox One games require an update to be downloaded in order to enable offline mode. EBGames in Australia mostly distributes digital copies of games in their Xbox One and PS4 bundles (Usually with a physical disc copy of one game). You can already get a Xbox One with 7! games bundled with it for a measly $599 AUD which is pretty good value imho if you like the included games.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say I think. At the Gamestop I worked at, we'd have bunldes set by Sony and Microsoft, say you might get Fifa 15 while buying an Xbox One, but it'd come as a digital copy. Nothing stopped us from taking those bundles and bundling them with games we had in stock, which obviously would be physical copies. My point is that the deals that you see advertised by Microsoft and Sony themselves, ie on facebook or wherever, those are almost always digital copies. It's easier and cheaper to print a code on a piece of paper. But you can without a doubt get physical copies bundled with if you buy them from store chains such as Gamestop or EB Games, but that's what I meant by store specific bundles.

That is a good price though, at least for seven games. That's the price of a basic console here, without any games. :P

You know my Bias mode on the Xbox One is dying, I've been actually thinking that I would get one maybe after getting a ps3 and Wii U. Thinking about it the Xbox One has more exclusives out on it now I believe also two of the next gen games I want will also be on it as well. (FFXV, KH-III) Also Killer Instinct is there as well...

Though reading on Gamefaqs It seems like there is a chance KI is coming to PC I think? I didn't read the article very good. Also The Controller for the Xbox One is very comfortable and I like it. And with the price getting cut is really making it look good.

FF XV and KH 3 aren't exclusive to the Xbox One though, their also on PS4.

My only gripe with Xbox ONE when it comes to games is that with the exception of Square Enix, Japan will most likely neglect the Xbox brand when it comes to RPGs. So no Tales or Persona on Xbox platforms any time soon.

I love my XboxOne

Downloaded the demos for Killer Instinct and Destiny and holy crap.

What rreeeeaally amazes me though is upon downloading the free crackle app I now have access -free- to tons of shows and movies. Many more similar apps

A media center box. That's what the Xbox ONE really is to me. Remember last gen when PS3 tried to be a media box first? Now it's the other way around with Xbox ONE.

My dad actually owns one, and uses it to watch TV and Netflix....lol.  The thing is, though, they also have laptops and HDMI cables.  So...isn't it a bit redundant?

I use Chromecast. I can put whatever I want on my TV with just a click of a mouse or a press of a button.
