Uh, I feel kind of stupid asking this question, but I've finished level and still don't have the sword. Did I miss it in that level somewhere? Also, I seem to need the flute to progress to one room in level one, did I miss that also?

Bomb just below the stairs right at the entrance to level 1.

The quest is non linear so you have to go back later once you find it.
