can you give me a hint were the book is? i'm stuck in level 9

So, I went all the way through level 10 into the middle section only to find I was missing a key. Due to time constraints I saved the game and came back later. Had to go thru level 9 again but this time it did not warp me to level 10 and I cannot go any further.

You didn't buy the boots, found on the way to level 9

 

I didn't see a shop that sold them?

 

The magic key is found in level 10. Remember to whistle whilst you work! Its at 9' o clock.

The book is in the bottom right hand corner of the map. You need to go up to the upper section, then go all the way east. A staircase down will lead you to the book.

you need to swim and to hammer your way to level 10.

Yes, level 10 can also be accessed from the house where you get the giant's wallet. It's to the west of mini dungeon 7, or north east of level 6. Swim!

 

As for missing keys, the magic key is in level 10 I promise!

I may be missing something, but don't know where to go after level 2.  Found MD3 but not 2 and I think I need a boomerang to do MD3.

Mini Dungeon 2 is one screen North, and one screen west of the overworld starting position. Toot your flute.

 

Level 3 can be found by going through the warp ring's left path. Look for the graves in the boulder field, and again toot.

So it was a waste of my  time spending 500 rupees on them? LOL!

The boots make the damage sand tiles do nothing.  This is huge on modes like Kaizo Mode, less obvious on the easier modes.

What to do after levels 5 and 6?  I must have missed something because I don't have enough hearts for sword and stuck on where to go next.

Go back to the level 3 area when you have the level 2 power bracelet.
