I've been following this quest since the beginning, which was before I joined the forums. It is still one of the things on this board that I await most. Everything looks beautiful.
As Koh said, the animation is a little wrong, but you've already said you're fixing that. I also think the lighthouse tiles should change at night to something that has a flame or at least glow at the top, but again I imagine even the tiles are not at their final state.
Good luck with this, it looks really promising. I'm going to follow this until the end without a doubt.

Yeah I'd love to get proper animation going for the lighthouse light spinning around. Aeos, please transfer all artistic abilities into me so I can do all the sprite work I need!

Wow, grave-digging! Bug goes to show just how little info has been released since the last post on this thread. If I last recall my most recent conversation with Plissken, he was looking for help in finishing this since he wasn't sure if he'd be able to complete it alone.

Eh, I don't really know. I kind of just felt like making some screens. Anyone who would like to help making screens in ZQ PM me. I definitely don't have the motivation to finish this game, and the engine I was writing needs a lot of rewrites with stuff like collision and cameras. I basically took my mistakes with that engine and am making a platformer in Java without those mistakes. So right now, it might as well be back in ZQ.
But yeah, if Ebola wants to keep working on it that'd be cool with be too, I just thought about making some screens.

I'm not sure if that's a ZQuest palette limitation, but if that's dirt or sand, then I feel like the dirt or sand should be more brown or golden respectively, to differentiate them from the walls/floors a bit more as well as add a bit more color to the picture. But overall the room design is nice.
