i was thinking along the lines of 2d, because a few loose tile submissions kind of caught my eye and got me thinking. so, should
you trust this hooligan who is still trying to fit into the purezc community?? or do you want to kill him. icon_eek.gif

I think you should try, even if it doesn't come out well, it would be a good experience.

Go for it.

No. There's a pretty good reason why it's 3D. It wasn't even as great as everyone brags. Even though I haven't played TP, neither it, WW, or OoT belong in a 2D environment. Even with TP, OoT is still better. (though shorter from what I've heard.) Keep it to the 3D engines buddy.

It's called "Minish Cap"

If you can rip a Minish Cap tileset into ZC, that would be beyond awesome. Since MC uses the same artwork style as WW. The only thing you will need is the WW exclusive items, such as the king of red lions. But I don't think we're aiming for a WW remake, here, are we?

Please actually make this tileset. If you need help I would ask tilemakers as I call them to help you. Also, make sure people actually test your tileset before you submit it. I know of some sets that shouldn't have been made but were added to the database. Cough, "New Style Tileset".

Actually, Minish cap is an expansion of TWW graphics, if you ask me. It has more tree and mountain types. I remember three from TWW. MC had around five different mountain faces. The only thing that would rip flawlessly well from MC into a WW tileset is the town/ castle/ house landscapes (along with characters). Trees and mountains should be different. If anything, something more like the BS mountains would be more suitable for a TWW tileset. Enemies might be a problem. I suppose Irfanview can resize large MC enemies such as Darknuts, and Moblins, but it wouldn't be the same...

Why have I thought about this so much? I almost did it. But I'm lazy, so I didn't.

Well, MC and WW have their differences, like bosses and NPCs and stuff. MC isn't exactly like WW in terms of graphics-included. Same style yes, but not all objects are the same. Besides, there's a huge difference between WW trees and MC trees.

But to answer your question: if you can do it, go for it. I'm actually in need of some of the tiles, but am too lazy to make them myself, so I mooch off of other tileset-makers. icon_twisted.gif
