Detective Dick Gumshoe reporting for duty sir, here's the police report.
The victim Evan20k was found barely alive at his apartment after almost being beaten to death by what appears to be a hammer or some other blunt object. There was honey all over the place. Down the street Moosh was found 2 hours after the body was found eating honey. He is our only lead at the moment and is out on bail. If you see him tell him I said hello.

It appears that a man by the name of Orithan has come forth with a testimony relating to the Evan20k case. He says he witnessed a man by the name of Russ entering the house about an hour before the body was found from the front yard of his house.

Oh! But, to cast blame off Moosh, I would like to submit this piece of evidence to the court.
This honey pot bears the fingerprints of Evan, the victim of this case. Furthermore, it was found in the house of Palpaleos. Therefore, I propose that Moosh is unrelated to this case, and...
I formerly accuse Palpaleos of the murder of Evan!

No, this can't be right. Something doesn't add up.
If TS's hammer is indeed the murder weapon, then that would mean somebody would had to steal it from inside the safe in our house, and that would mean...
THAT'S IT!
If they had opened the safe to get the murder weapon, then they would have tripped the security system, and their face would be caught on camera. Which means... I would like to submit this recording of the vault inside my house as evidence.
As you can see, the security footage clearly shows Palpaleos. This leads us to only one conclusion.

A sex change would take months, and couldn't have been accomplished in that short of a time period. So this leaves us with two options.
A. It was a woman disguised as Palpaleos who stole the hammer
B. It was Palpaleos disguised as a woman who stole the hammer.

This hammer has been handled recently more recent then the date of the crime! It is therefore possible that the hammer was put back by Russ to hide the murder weapon! Also that security footage is clearly doctored! It's not 2014!

We ran tests on Russ' security systems and found that their internal clocks have been set a year ahead since the start of June 7th this year, so they may not have been doctored!

You're wrong! They were set forwards two years. Also, the sex change could have done whenever, if time travel was involved.

Um, we're not seriously discussion time travel as a possibility here, are we?
If the internal clock was set forward by two years, that means the hammer actually stolen a year ago. This raises the question of why the murder was only committed recently. Therefore, the defense proposes that the hammer was stolen for a completely different reason, and its usage as the murder weapon is coincidental.
