We DO have a rule against rent-a-modding.

I've noticed far too many people trying to get a word in before the moderators could get a chance, lately.

I realise some of you are very concerned about how we handle things... but please... don't try to fix them for us. If you notice a post that seems to be against the rules and no mod has looked at it for about a day or two... report it to them (just make sure it's actually in the rules!!!). Don't take matters into your own hands. Not only will you be marked as a rent-a-mod... but you could possibly be denied any chance at actually HELPING us in the near future (ie. becoming a mod).

It's really not hard to report anything. Yes... we have the "report this post" feature disabled on this board. It's mainly since it does little good to get emails from that thing. However... with the mass PM feature... you should easily be able to notify all the mods of the specific forum where the incident occurred or something. Just... stop taking matters into your own hands.

As of this note... I will start enforcing the rent-a-mod rule to a higher degree. Honestly... it's starting to send a bad message with 5 or 6 people throwing something offtopic just to rant about someone doing something wrong.

Thank you.
