Which McAfee doesn't do. For real, man, stay away from McAfee unless you have no choice.

I Use Norton Anti Virus. It does a good job. along side fix it.

Well it does pick up stuff. I used to have Norton, but then it screwed itself up, and would never finish the scans, so I could never keep my computer clean.

gernerally having a local IP like 192.168.1.1 or whatever your pc uses in your hosts file will cause some virus scanners to get stuck on it, scanning forever. Trend Micro released a hotfix to resolve the issue but the hotfix is never included as an official update... no clue why.

Norton Antivirus seems to work well for me. I've never had to deal with viruses before, so it must be doing it's job. icon_biggrin.gif
