A friend of mine reccomended this show to me, but I haven't heard much about it. What do you guys thin of it? Is it any good, and what's it about? I know it involves vampires, but that's all I know.

I haven't watched the show, but I have the first three volumes of the manga and it's awesome, not to mention gory. And there's also rape, mutilation, torture and cannibalism.

I love gore in graphic novels o_O

The only reason why I don't have the whole series already is because they're fifteen bucks a volume, as opposed to the ten or eight dollars I usually pay. Anyway, as you can imagine, it's about vampires in England. There's Alucard, the vampire, who works with Integra Hellsing (the owner of the Hellsing agency, who's objective is to take out nasty vampires and other creatures that wreak havoc in the human world). I could go into so much more detail, but I wouldn't want to ruin the experience for you. But if you watch the anime, make sure to read the manga as well. I've heard that they're very different from each other.
