I forgot my password at myspace, but when I requested it from myspace the stupid thing says it isn't right.
so I copied it and pasted it into the password space, and STILL said it was wrong.
and now my account is locked for 15 min. for excessive failed logins.

..damn you Tom.

Did you check for a confirmation code or something in the email you were sent? Send another request if needed.

Ah, yes. You've got to hate it.

Of course, MySpace isn't the only place with such a problem. Some forums don't even send the automated message for password requests.

I recommend trying to send another request. Different password from there might work.

MySpace IMO Sucks.
I don't get why its an awsome place to go there.

But I REALLY HATE "Wait for 30 minutes befor entering another password">
I accidently got my password wrong in I think MapleStory, and I couldn't be there in time for my friend's meeting just because of the stupid password lock.
