I also found FFVII to be moderately hard, because of the bosses there. Usually a game has a boss or two that I can just barely handle, but this one had quite a few.

i though VII was kinda easy it took me two or three days to get to the end but i cannot beat sephiroth!! icon_mad.gif
he is so hard always using that big meteor attack and killing all my people then we you die you have to start over and fight his mother again (whos name i cannot remember)

but yea gleeok i cannot think of any hard RPG's is dark cloud an RPG?? if so i think thats a good one especially the one dungeon with the 100 floors (which name i cant remember) sorry guys i cannot remember alot of things icon_lol.gif its been i while since i have played those games

Ehm... Well... SOMETIMES I REALLY hate oblivion... No no... not like that kind ''hate'', but the game developers should test every challenge at EVERY character level and classes (and possibly races). I've ran into some extreme difficullites in the game. Like when I get 4 Mages and 6 Big crocodile thingys AND 4 Rock monsters AND even one more Super Mage. Then it get's a little above very hard. And If I went to train levels up before i went back to those pesky monsters, THEY would have levelled up too! (and possibly change into more dangerous monsters!)
But then again most stuff in the game(so far I am) is very easy, ut if you then suddenly get something extremly hard on your quest screen you'll get frustrated.
Another game (I know it's not a RPG but, meh) is Spider-man 3 on X-Box 360. (haven't tried any other version) This game is one of the hardest motha focking games I have EVER played!(that I can remember)!
And I'm (I would say) a good gamer. But this game is just... ARGH! I can't even say it! It's so EXTREME! One time I was going to defend a container thingy,
which was okay, untill i saw those 300 lizard thingys coming towards me! And if I killed one of them even more would come up from the murky water! But I guess that's the life of a super hero...
Happy playing
EDIT: Adioboy, you said ''I'' with uncapitalized letters, right? I mean, infront of Sephiroth? Cause that could be the problem... He seems to get mad every time someone doesen't spell EXACTLY as he wants them too... I feel your pain, belive me... Just ask ShadowTiger... He had to send me a shift key... So... I guess you could have one of my old ones... *Migokalle gives you a shift key* Ta da da-daaaaa! You got the Shift Key! Use it against him! It's your last hope! XDXDXD!

Hard RPG...? That's actually kinda hard to say, as pretty much most (if not all) of the RPG's listed here and in existance just require time to become more powerful to make everything easy. Ones that I've actually had a hard time with though have been: FF8 (mainly because leveling up does jack **** as the eneimes get stronger with you... I lost the will to play this game at the end), and Earthbound (only because I accidently saved right in the middle of two towns with one character fainted and the other 10 HP with no items to heal... have never been able to pick the game up since).

i found FF8 easy just a little its just that the game is really long but yea near the end (like disc 4) the game gets really hard especially when all of your commands get taken away and you must beat bosses to get them back

Treasure of the Rudras for the win icon_razz.gif

And I'm sure that the 1 (?) other person here who's beaten it 100% will agree with me...

FF1, FF2, FF3 (for the nes).

FF1 was just too slow and annoying.
FF2's level up system was hard as hell without cheating.
FF3 was just difficult.

Well, it isn't a typical RPG, but the Baldur's Gate series (NOT DARK ALLIANCE) were some of the hardest PC games I have ever played... you actually had to come up with strategy, because your level 19 fighter that had 245 HP could die in ONE HIT for losing a saving throw. A lot of people don't like the game (it's pretty much straight D&D) because the fights are long and drawn out in most cases. Still, some insane and entertaining fights from that game.

I've also heard that the Fire Emblem series was fairly difficult (in comparison to FF games), but I've never played them myself... so I can't confirm this.
