Hookshot Problem

Whenever I pick up a hookshot in my quests. It doesn't appear in the inventory. What do I do?

I know I haven't been here awhile but I'm pretty sure I know whats wrong. You want to go to Quest > Misc Data > Subscreen Type and then select "Revision 2". There ya go. If that doesn't work then I'm sorry someone else would have to help.
