How can I turn on the torches here? I have the silver arrows, there are more items in this floor?

Yes there is another item that you'll need.

Without the spacebar map, this level will be a huge roadblock for a lot of players, I can anticipate this xD This floor is another level of complexity.

Unfortunately, given what is being done on the floor, a spacebar map would be completely imposible in 2.1. This is why I seriously and strongly suggest actually drawing out a map for this floor.

I'm playing it without drawing a map, like a man =P I have the second item! Thank god I have a good spatial memory. Is there map in this floor? I don't have it and looks like I'm near the end.

There is a map, it's kind of weird to get. You need to find a spot that seems to have a piece of something from the other side. (Also look for a chest you haven't opened yet. =p )

No map... I know where the chest is, but no luck.

The room above the chest with the map has a weird peice of a grated overhang. This same room in the light side has an overhang section as well. If you walk on where the missing overhang is, and follow it to where the different tile on the higher area in the dark side is, you will be warped there, and can get the chest.

Best quest of 2014, imo. To the top is an amazing experience that no one should miss. In fact, To The Top push the majority of 2.5 quests to shame.

Pros:
*Personality: The quest managed to get his own vibe and style.
*Amazing variety of atmospheres and unique dungeon gimmicks.
*Music choices, the quest always feels mysterious and epic.
*Gameplay twists, the first six floors have swordless gameplay, later the freeform dungeons come to the party and later a amazing overworld appears...
*An amazing interactive overworld with a lot of quests about helping people and a day/night system. It's a milestone in ZC.
*Some dungeons and environments like Floor 8, The Depths and Moonlit Crescent are near the definition of "art".
*Best bosses that I have seen in 2.10. The final boss is pure awesomeness.
*Great and creative puzzles, I hate block puzzles usually, but in this quest I enjoyed all of them immensely.
*Accomplishment everywhere. Secret dungeons and two endings.
Cons:
*A bit of abuse of the formula "press a switch to open a near path" in some of the latest dungeons.
*Without a spacebar map, Floor 10 can be a nightmare.
*The writing has seen better days. The story can be told better.
*The hero speaks. WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? Seriously, it hurts the inmersion ='( I don't know why some questmakers insist with this. It's a bit silly to see the hero saying unnatural things than no one would say. And also, it does the story more confusing to follow in the end. I can understand that the hero speaks in another kind of story, but in this game a "talking hero" brings nothing, it just serves to break the connection with the player. This flaw it's a shame in an AMAZING GAME like this, which shines in every other aspect. A lot of my favorite quests suffers from this.

Thanks to you. This quest has obsessed me for two years, when I played the demo. From the first rooms I had the feeling that the quest would be something special. And it was way better than I can hope when I started it! The demo had brutal difficulty, and some annoying parts here and there, but the quest was awesome anyway even in WIP status. I was so determined to finish the demo... I was totally immersed. All the floors were amazing, but the floor 9 twist wins me totally. Floor 9 alone is a superquest. There are very few quests with a cool interactivity =) And all of them are from 1.92/2.10, I don't know why people don't exploit well the 2.5 capabilities with the overworlds.

 

When I got to the Depths on the demo, it was heartbreaking... my old screen was bad, and I couldn't see the ground with the dark palette xD That was two years ago. Then, about a year ago, with a new screen, I finished the Depths. I arrived to floor 10, but as the quest was unfinished, I was discouraged by the complexity of the floor. So, I was very happy when I found out that you were polishing and finishing the game. The rest is history. What a great adventure!
