bible story
mythology
Oh, why must you tempt me so? I absolutely don't have time for this with school... and yet I want to enter so badly...
I may see if I can come up with something short like my 24 hour entry. Maybe. Absolutely no guarantees. But it's so tempting...

I can't feel the hype right now :O I think you should post defined and well thought-out rules. For example, can I just make a typical zelda dungeon and say it's inspired by the zelda series? Does the dungeon even have to be playable?

Yes. It needs to be playable.

It needs to be based on something more specific, but yeah, Zelda is media.
Yes. It needs to be playable.
If I narrow it down to one specific zelda game, like A Link Between Worlds, does that count? If I'd try to aim for that game's dungeon style maybe. Also, "based on" is a little more serious than "inspired by". I guess we should base our dungeons on the chosen media then? What if I wanted to go for a more subtle inspiration, where it wouldn't be obvious what my inspiration was until I spell it out?
Also, I'm having the same problem as with EotM right now. Can't think of an idea. xD If I get one though, I'll enter.

I understand. I have a ton of ideas. But I probably won't finish any. If I do it'll probably be based on Sweeney Todd, or something Stephen Kingy.

Also, I have one submission so far. As long as I can get one more by the deadline, I will continue the contest on the 1st.
I don't intend to do another one after this. I'm not around at all. If I come back around and it's liked well enough, I'll be more than happy to come up with more ideas.
