Also, what are your bitrate settings ?

 

Because judging from your specs, your streams should look BETTER than mine.

 

Anyway, ya might wanna try to change what software you stream with.

I installed OBS on my computer and the problem I'm having is that the HD PVR 2 is not handshaking with this software. I don't know if the HD PVR is fully implemented into OBS. But on Hauppauge Capture, my bitrate is set to 1MBPS. Perhaps I should try to raise it to the max of 6MBPS? Just so you know my Internet speed is 16 mbps.

So ya tried OBS already... (Normally I would recommend XSplit, but you'd have to pay for the full version of that thing >_< )

 

Well, I'm sure ya already set the scenes, the encoding, the broadcast, settings, the video, and the CPU preset, which prolly can handle anything past veryfast (faster, fast, medium, ect)

 

Hmm... also, how did you find out your bitrate, with Speedtest, or Testmy.net? Because I heard the latter is more accurate. Which is what I use. (As long as you go to the upload test, and select the test size, setting it to 33mb for the most accurate result, so you don't drop frames.)

@Juubz - I think it might be my internet speed that's causing my bottleneck. 

 

Alright guys, I plan to do one final test stream on PS3 before I start my next stream of Pandora's Tower. I think I know what's the best setting to ensure that there's no lag while keeping the quality reasonable.

 

Tell me which PS3 RPG you want me to stream from this list:

* Eternal Sonata

* Star Ocean: The Last Hope

* Resonance of Fate

* Tales of Graces f

* Valkyria Chronicles

 

Either tomorrow or Saturday would be appropriate days to do the stream.

Ah! Amazing game on the PS3! That game is unique in so many ways! It's a shame that we didn't get a VC3 not did we get any of its sequels on PS3.

 

Well, if nobody else objects, I'll try to do a stream of Valkyria Chronicles on Tuesday or Wednesday next week at 8PM CST. I'm waiting for my Blue Snowball Microphone to come in the mail (after borrowing my sister's).

Game: Pandora's Tower (Wii) w/Commentary

 

Based on last night's stream of Eternal Sonata yesterday, I'm all set and ready to go with our Pandora's Tower stream. I'll be playing using the Classic Controller. 

 

I also want to go back to LP'ing now that I have a much better microphone. I know I had a bunch of failed LP's in the past, but now that I have much better equipment to work with this time around (as opposed to my overly used and underpowered laptop), I can get more LP videos in. I'll be starting with a clean slate and I'm planning to LP Resident Evil Revelations on PS3 with commentary. 

 

TO STAFF: Can you change the title of this topic to "Dawnlight's LP's and LIVE Streaming"?

In about 30 minutes, I will be streaming Pandora's Tower on the Wii. I'll be starting a New Game so it's going to be an almost blind playthrough of the game. (I actually played about 30 minutes of the game beforehand).

UPDATE

 

I just want to let you guys know that I recently got a partnership with TGN (The Gamer Nation). I'm personally very excited. I got some new gaming videos that I'm planning to show very soon. I'll be starting my LP of Resident Evil Revelations (PS3) this week so be on a lookout for that. Other than that, I do plan to make Vlogs to try to get my channel going. Expect a lot from me in the coming weeks. 

 

Tonight, I will be Live-Streaming Somewhere in Between by Russ as part of my ZC Test-Streaming.

Sorry for the lag in last night's stream. It looks like my sister was the culprit for the technical difficulties with my internet. She was streaming Netflix during the live-streaming. I'll be sure to check my internet speed prior to my future streams.

 

Anyways, no streaming tonight. I actually want to get started on my LP Recording of RE Revelations.
