I may be a Final Fantasy fan, but I'd have to go for Portrait of Ruin. I'm basing my vote 100% on the game that I enjoyed more. Funny thing, I got both Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Final Fantasy III DS for Christmas last year. I played both games, but Portrait of Ruin succeeded. I have beaten Portrait of Ruin with my first file at Level 99. I still have yet to beat that boss that I need to use the Dragoon against in FF3 DS (I tell ya, using the Dragoon effectively in FF3 seems harder than using the Dragoon effectively in FF4.

Castlevania easily.
I haven't even finished FF3 yet as I'm still at the Crystal Tower and finished every other game I have besides that.

Final Fantasy III on the DS didn't really stand out. Hope Final Fantasy IV on the DS would make the PSP versions of Final Fantasys I and II look like baby games.

Portrait of Ruin kicks @ss. It's fun to beat the crap out of zombies, ghosts, and vampires.
