Well, I've known that this rivalry has been going on between these two English bands for years now, so I thought I'd take the time to ask which side you would jump to, and why?

Discuss. I'm having no comment in this whatsoever.

I voted Blur, because, although thaey make o.k. music, the members of the band Oasis are some of the most annoying people you'll find anywhere.

I voted Oasis because Liam has probably got the best Rock n Roll voice ever, and I met him about ten years ago and he is actually a top bloke.
Although Blur admitted in the press that my old Mod band Squire were a big influence to their music so its pretty close.
BOTH great bands.

Apparently some report said that Liam Gallagher has the most recognisable voice in British music - more recognisable than John Lennon or Paul McCartney of the Beatles! icon_eek.gif And what does that tell you?

Oasis hands down. They may be pompous, but so are many others in the same line of entertainment, and I find their attitude to be entertaining myself. No doubt they do that on purpose. Oasis has many more songs that I will remember, although I still like Blur too.

I voted for Blur. Although Oasis come out with some decent songs, their albums haven't really progressed. Blur have always had a wide variety of musical inspiration, and you get a multitude of sounds as you flick trhough the tracks.
And I don't care if it's a facade, Liam Gallagher is a t**t - it's quite embarrassing actually watching do that swaggery thing. He's not the 12-year-old class clown. All the best Oasis songs (Don't Look Back in Anger, Master Plan, Importance of Being Idle) are basically without him.
The only other good thing about Oasis is Taco_Chopper!
