I liked it. It was really good.

Are you talking about the movie?

I read a few pages of the book and I didn't like it; I never saw the movie.

Aww. That's too bad because it's actually pretty good. I liked it but one part of it is really very sad. I'm sure it's also the same in the book.

The movie wasn't all that great. It was almost an entirely different genre from the book, which was a bit darker as I recall.

Heh, I made a thread about this a while ago. I saw it, but I didn't really like it. Way too depressing for my taste.

The only real depressing part is where the boy whose name I can't recall's friend dies while he's at the museum with their Music teacher. The rope they used broke and she fell into the water. They couldn't save her. When I went to see it one of the ladies in the row in front of my cried really loud when that girl died.

I think I might of stated this before...but here goes.

I could tell by the trailers of the movie, that they were going to screw up badly with this flick. For one thing, they only showed the imagination parts of the movie, and if you had read the actual book, you'd've realised that only showing scenes like that ment it was going to be a big piece of crap.

I read the book in fifth grade, and believe me, it was like playing Halo: Boring as hell and made me want to kill myself because of how horrible it was. And compaired to the movie, the movie never does a book justice...well, the only screw up I can remember is that the girl was blonde in the movie, but she was supposed to be a brown head. Also, I don't believe the imagination of their minds came to life like that as it did in the book.

This is all from rememberance, btw. Some of it might be incorrect, but how am I supposed to remember something as crappy as the book after I saw the movie of it that was equally as crappy if not worse.

So my word of advice: If you read the book and liked it, don't watch the movie since it didn't do it justice (as with most books to movies). If you read the book and hated it, then it's probably likely you'll hate this movie. And if you haven't read it, just do yourself a favor and don't see it.

Hey I think the movie was good. I think it's better than the book even though I haven't read it. They didn't screw up. It's a great movie.

I found the girls death quite funny since in one of the older movies, it was done so poorly to the point the main character had cried,

"You lie! You lie to me! You lie!!!"
And he runs off.

I've read the novel, but haven't seen the movie yet. When I saw trailers for the movie, it looked as though it were a fantasy flick.. When I read the novel, I learned that it is just a fiction story.. ((without magic and all that stuff))

I really wish to see the movie, though!!
